I joined LJ in March 2002. Remember when we had to download and install a client before we could use Livejournal? Or when you had to be cool enough to know someone who already had a journal and would give you a spare code? So much better now!

So here are a few of my more memorable entries:

I did use a client for my convenience for a while, but I don't recall it ever being necessary. I joined in the summer of 2000.

Ditto. Using a client has never been necessary afair.

Same here. You never *had* to download a client. I started LJ in 2001.

Wow. I forgot about the whole downloading-a-client thing. I can't remember very much about it, but I vaguely remember having to ask for a code or something to join LJ.

If only they'd up the icon size to 80kb. It's been 10 years already.
